It's Time to Clean Up!

Its time to clean up! Does that make you squirm? Do you immediately feel stressed? Transitions and clean up time can be challenging. In fact, think about a time when you were into something whether it be work, exercise, or a hobby. What if someone just came in and shouted from the other side of the room “Stop! Put everything away. Let’s go!”. That would be hard and evoke some feelings, right? Read on to learn some tips and tricks to help your classroom run smoothly.

Positive Talk

When a child gets dropped off to your classroom and is crying do you reassure them with "It's okay", and then immediately try to redirect them?
